Carousel Club is a collectible brand built around vinyl culture. We design playful, physical objects that sit somewhere between art, music and everyday ritual - starting with Series 001 - Vinyl Ghosts.
Vinyl Ghosts are our first drop - small collectible figures designed to sit on the spindle of your turntable. Each one is handmade and part of a 'blind-box' series, meaning you won’t know which one you’ve got until you open it.
Yes - every Vinyl Ghost comes in a sealed blind box* (*which is actually a can)
That means the design you receive is random. No picking, no peeking.
Hi, I'm Jamie... UK-born 30-something living in The Netherlands. Carousel Club was created by a joint obsession of blind box culture, vinyl records and making anything and everything out of clay! And I wanted to bring something physical, playful and collectible into a world that’s increasingly digital.
Each Vinyl Ghost is handmade in small batches - starting with a ball of clay. Shaped, sanded, primed and finished with spray paints and splatters!
Because of this, slight variations and imperfections are part of what makes each one unique.
New series, new colours and future collaborations are already in the works.
Once a series is gone, it may not return - so if you like something, don’t wait too long.
All Vinyl Ghosts are handmade in The Netherlands.

For the full care guide, please go to the dedicated care page.
Handle with care and avoid dropping. Keep away from excessive heat and direct sunlight for long periods. Each piece is handmade and should be treated like a collectible.
This depends on your turntable model and dust cover clearance, but we'd generally advise closing down your dust cover whilst your Vinyl Ghost on the spindle.
Yes - Vinyl Ghosts are designed to sit on the spindle and do not touch the grooves of your record. They are safe to use while playing records.
For best results, handle with care and avoid forcing the fit. See our Care Guide for more tips.
Vinyl Ghosts are designed to fit standard turntable spindles. We have tested rigorously on a majority of brands, all of which have been compatible. If you'd like us to confirm this for your specific player - let us know the make, model and ideally the spindle height and we'll happily double check for you!
For first use, gently place it on top to ensure it fits okay.
No - Vinyl Ghosts sit on the spindle and do not touch the grooves of your record, so they won’t affect playback or sound quality (tested rigorously).
They also do not carry enough to weight to replicate any type of sound improvements like numerous heavyweight vinyl weights/clamps claim to do.
Yes. When used correctly and with care, Vinyl Ghosts will cause no damage to your record player or records themself.
Each one is hand finished so the hole is tapered and smooth and the bottom is sanded and smoothed.
Each figure is handmade, starting life as a ball of clay, then sanded, primed, spray painted and finished with a gloss and protective varnish.
Possibly. Each Vinyl Ghost is part of the blind-box concept and experience, so duplicates can happen especially when ordering multiple.
For those ordering 4 or less, we'll aim to ensure there are no duplicates.
The rare variant has odds of 1 in 20 (a 5% chance). The remaining 'blind boxes' contain one of the four standard variants, which have an equal 1 in 4 chance of being pulled (23.75% chance).
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know by sending us an e-mail at hello@carousel-club.com and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.
